At My Home Service Center, we aim to provide transparent and reliable doorstep repair services.
This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how cancellations, refunds, and service fees are handled.
1. Inspection Charges (Non-Refundable)
The inspection charge applies for every technician visit.
This fee is non-refundable, regardless of whether:
The repair is approved or declined
No repair is needed
The appliance is non-repairable
You cancel after the technician reaches your location
The fee covers diagnosis, technician time, travel, and assessment.
2. Service Cancellation Policy
You may cancel or reschedule your booking by contacting us at least 1 hour before the scheduled visit.
There is no cancellation fee if the technician has not yet been assigned or dispatched.
Cancellation after technician assignment may still result in the inspection charge being applicable.
If you cancel the service or decide not to proceed with repairs:
The inspection charge is mandatory and must be paid.
3. Repair Service Charges
Repair charges are applicable only when you approve the repair.
Once the repair work has started, the service cost cannot be cancelled or refunded.
4. Spare Parts Payment & Refunds
If any spare part is purchased and installed:
Refund is not applicable on used or installed parts.
For special-order parts (brand-specific or non-stock items):
Advance payment (if any) is non-refundable, as the part is sourced specifically for your appliance.
We do not take back, exchange, or refund spare parts once installed.
5. Warranty-Based Service
Warranty covers only the service performed and only for the duration specified.
Warranty does not guarantee full refund or replacement of parts or appliances.
Warranty voids if the appliance is handled by another technician after our service.
Refunds are not provided for issues outside the warranty conditions.
6. No Service Available / Technician Unavailable
If service cannot be provided due to technician unavailability or unforeseen reasons:
You will be informed promptly.
Any advance taken for uninstalled spare parts may be refunded.
Inspection charges are not refundable if the technician already visited.
7. Customer No-Show
A “no-show” happens when:
The technician arrives, but the customer is unavailable
The customer does not answer calls/messages
The location is incorrect or inaccessible
In such cases, the inspection charge remains applicable.
8. Incorrect Booking Information
If incorrect appliance details or location information leads to:
Delays
Additional visits
Inability to complete service
The inspection fee applies and cannot be refunded.
9. Online Payments / UPI Refunds
If a refund is applicable (rare cases only):
It will be processed through the same payment method within 3–7 working days.
Transaction charges, payment gateway fees, or deductions (if any) are non-refundable.
