Warranty Policy – My Home Service Center

At My Home Service Center, we provide limited warranty coverage on appliance repair services, wherever applicable. This Warranty Policy explains what is covered, what is not covered, and how warranty claims are handled.
By using our services, you agree to the terms mentioned in this policy.
1. Service Warranty (What We Cover)
We provide a limited warranty on the repair services performed by our technicians.
The warranty applies only to the specific repair work done during the service visit.
Warranty includes:
Rechecking the appliance if the same issue occurs again within the warranty period
Service adjustments related to the repair done earlier
Basic support regarding the previous repair
Warranty Duration:
Warranty duration varies based on the service and will be communicated by the technician during the visit.
Some repairs may not carry any warranty due to appliance condition.
2. Spare Part Warranty
If a spare part is replaced:
The warranty on spare parts depends on the manufacturer or supplier warranty
Not all spare parts carry warranty
Warranty coverage and duration will be shared before installation
Spare part warranty is valid only for the part replaced, not for the entire appliance
We do not manufacture any parts; warranties are provided by suppliers or part manufacturers.
3. What Is NOT Covered Under Warranty
The following are NOT included in our service warranty:
❌ Physical Damage or Misuse
Damage caused by accidents, improper usage, or mishandling.
❌ Electrical & External Issues
Problems caused by:
Voltage fluctuations
Power failure
Wiring or plumbing issues
Low or high voltage supply
Short circuits
Water leakage from building or plumbing systems
❌ Environmental Conditions
Damage from:
Rust or corrosion
Moisture
Pests (rats, cockroaches, ants, etc.)
Dust build-up or non-maintenance
❌ Previous Repairs / Third-Party Work
Warranty becomes void if:
The appliance is opened or serviced by another technician after our repair
A different issue develops unrelated to the original repair
❌ Old or Weak Appliances
Old appliances with:
Weak PCB
Worn-out mechanical parts
Multiple existing issues
may not qualify for warranty.
❌ Commercial or Heavy Usage
Appliances used in shops, hostels, hotels, businesses, or commercial environments are not covered.
4. Conditions for Warranty Claim
To claim warranty:
Keep the original job card or service message as proof
Warranty applies only to the same issue that was repaired earlier
The appliance must be accessible for inspection
Warranty visit scheduling depends on technician availability
If a new or unrelated issue is found, new charges may apply.
5. Warranty Inspection Charges
Warranty inspection is free ONLY if the same issue reoccurs under valid warranty.
Charges may apply if:
The issue is different
Appliance has new physical damage
A third-party technician has opened or repaired the appliance
Fault is due to external electrical or plumbing issues
6. Spare Part Warranty Claim Process
If a replaced spare part has a warranty:
The technician will check the part
If the part is defective, we will replace it according to supplier warranty policy
Replacement may take time depending on part availability
Labour charges may apply for reinstalling the part (supplier warranty covers part only)
7. No Refund Policy for Serviced Appliances
Service charges or part replacement costs are not refundable once the repair work has been completed.
8. Appliance Not Repairable / Recurrent Issues
Some appliances may have:
Internal motherboard faults
Multiple issues
Aged components
In such cases, we may inform you that the appliance has a non-repairable or unstable condition.
Warranty does not apply if the appliance develops new or repeated issues due to internal wear and tear.
9. Changes to This Warranty Policy
My Home Service Center may update this Policy anytime.
Changes will be posted with a new effective date.
